Limbacher & Godfrey Architects served as Historic Preservation Consultants for the Downtown Austin Plan. In that role, they mapped historical patterns of urban development and worked with the principles of form-based codes to protect and complement the unique character of historic downtown buildings. The Downtown Austin Plan was honored by the Heritage Society of Austin with a Merit Award for Stewardship presented on November 30, 2012.
